Parta Ola
is the spinning top game from Greece, traditionally played around the
Christmas and New Year Holidays. I remember playing Parta Ola as we grew up in
Greece, and I wanted to continue the tradition with my family and friends.
Unfortunately, I've learned that the spinning tops are very hard to find, even
in Greece. So, I decided to make my own!
Our aluminum and brass tops are precision machined for accurate balancing and great
spinning. Colored tops (red, black, green and blue) are all hard-anodized for lasting color, and all tops are CNC engraved. Each 6-sided
top is engraved in your choice of Greek:

Though Parta Ola is traditionally a holiday game, it's also great for
parties and get togethers, and fun for the whole family. Our spinning tops
will give you hours of enjoyment!
There are many variations of Parta Ola - here's the one I grew up with:
Any number of people can play. Everyone antes into the �pot.�
First player spins, then follows the directions on the topside of the top:
Pare = take that number from the pot. Bale = Put that number
in the pot.
If the directions say Parta Ola, that player gets to take the
whole pot!
If it says Balte Oli, then ALL players must put ONE in the
pot.
Play until you have a winner. Have fun!
